Well, Samsung Bada, a new mobile operating system, made by Samsung themselves, has unveiled their new UI. Yes, they had a teaser back in earlier December, although what they’ve unveiled today has a lot more coverage and answers.
To be quite honest, this operating system looks rather similar to the likes of Android and Symbian. Say, if you put both Android and Symbian in a cauldron and mixed the two together, it would create Samsung Bada. Although, in spite of Samsung’s efforts and achievements, do we really need a whole new mobile operating system? Sure, the more the merrier, and I’m not trying to hate on Bada, but think about it. We have Android, Symbian, iPhone OS, BB OS, etc. Why would we need a whole new mobile operating system, creating more of a community and scatter, confusion and depression?! Anyway, Samsung Bada does seem rather solid, and I’m glad to say that their SDK seems extremely fluid and smooth.
