Well that’s a bit of a surprise. Just five days ago, Sprint said Android 2.0 will be coming to the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment, now they’re saying 2.1 is coming to both devices in the first half of 2010. Yes, that means it’ll be running what the rumored Nexus One is running, Android 2.1. I’m guessing Google gave the okay for 2.1 instead of just 2.0? Then again, some leaked Hero builds have been 2.1 rather than 2.0, so that’s nice. Just wish that that first half of 2010 release was sooner, and more precise. Anyway, kudos to Sprint for bringing the news that 2.1 will actually be coming to these devices.
